Help with chemistry question please?
Why is benzene more reactive than hexane but less reactive then hexene considering its structure?
Could someone please explain this to me
Thank you

Hexane -- all C to C bonds are single bonds -- most stable structure
Benzene -- ring structure with alternating double bonds -- that makes it have resonance -- less stable than single bonds but more stable than normal double bonds because of the resonance
hexene -- 3 double bonds with NO resonance -- least stable
