Why don't Republicans understand that USA is Biden/Obama country NOT Trump country. They are NOT the majority nor do they speak for America?
Obama and Biden won their elections with over 51% of the popular vote each time. Almost EVERY state, from GA, Iowa, Nebraska 2nd district, Florida, Arizona to NY, California, MASS etc. voted either for Biden in 2020 or Obama in 2012. Only a few like Texas(which Trump won by less than 6%), Oklahoma, N.D etc. never.

I do think that Trump supporters need to do more to internalize the reality that they do not represent the majority of this country and they really need to make a great effort to reach out to the people who do.
In the wake of Trump's surprising win in 2016 (albeit one where he decisively lost the popular vote), there was a lot of talk from people about the need for liberals and "coastal elites" (one of the most dehumanizing terms in modern political language) to "reach out" to Trump supporters and try to understand them. And that's all well and good. But there's really been no comparable call for Trump supporters to reach out the other way to try and understand the majority of Americans who have always opposed Trump and supported Democratic Presidential candidates. I think that such an outreach is really needed. These people need to put aside their ego and their biases and try and understand the reality of the average American, ie the people who voted decisively against Trump.

The republican Party has won the popular vote in 1 presidential election in the last 30 years- and it was with the aid of incumbency.
