Tips on creating character profiles for a book with alot of characters!!!??

Is there a quicker and more simple way to do this???

    I don't tend to bother, I just keep notes as I write. All I need to know is all ready in my head and I don't forget what they look like or what they want.

    You can get very detailed character templates all over the internet. I tend to keep them basic because any inconsistency can be cleared up when I edit and half the time the character on the page isn't like the one in the profile.

    It's a bit difficult to answer without knowing how you're doing it now. Quicker and more simple than what?

    I personally don't create character profiles, but then I'm not writing anything like 'A Song of Ice and Fire' or 'The Stand'.

    I believe you can print out character profile sheets that you just need to fill out, if you're looking for something like that?
