How much is the applied voltage?

A 10Ω- and 15Ω- resistor are in parallel across a dc voltage source. If the 10Ω- resistor has a voltage drop of 12 V, how much is the applied voltage?

this question has been haunting me for days, can anyone help I can't quite wrap around my head on how to solve this one, it's making me anxious.

Since both the resistors are in parallel across the voltage source both will have the same voltage across them.
