The general electric company just cut down my tree underneath the line and it hit my house. Can I sue?

    You can try but it doesn’t mean it will go anywhere

    I highly doubt "General Electric" is cutting down trees in your town.

    But your local electric utility - or more likely, their contractor, is probably doing that.

    If the tree hits your house, they are responsible.

    No but they can sue you because your house was in the way.
