For certain websites that disable the right click save feature for images, is it wrong to use snipping tool to save these images?

a) yes

b) no

When you answer, can you give me an explanation?

    Hello, Ben,

    If you are using the Work or images of some other website for monetizing purposes or to sell something then you could get copyright issues. The screen capture or image should only be used to educate or comment on something.

    You can save whatever you want. You just can't display them or disseminate them.

    Yes, it's wrong if you plan to use the photo without the owner's permission. It's illegal.

    No, there is a legal construct called 'Fair Use' that allows you, with some stipulations, to freely copy digital images. You are still restricted on what you can DO with these images.

    Yes. The reason for the disabling right click is to prevent violation of copyright for those images. If you aren't the creator of the image, you do not have the right to use that image.
