Who Were the Two Most Influential British Prime Ministers of the Twentieth Century?
- Disco StuLv 42 months agoFavorite Answer
In terms of fame and memorability W. Churchill and M. Thatcher. Neither were particularly intellectual or beloved; but influential.
Lloyd George was PM at time of WW1, Ramsay MacDonald was the 1st Labour PM. Ironically the others like Wilson Macmillan and Blair quietly accomplished much.

Neville Chamberlain and James Callaghan...without them and their mistakes Churchill and Thatcher would never have come to power.

Churchill and Thatcher obviously.
Have to comment on “B Liar accomplished much”.
Yes he got us into the never ending war in Iraq and Afghanistan , opened the UK to unlimited overwhelming immigration , expanded universities so that graduates are lucky if they get a job in McDonalds and let all the IRA terrorists go free. Oh and let that idiot Gordon Brown sell off all our gold at rock bottom prices and steal half of our pensions.
