Should people who advocate defunding/getting rid of the police be charged with treason?

Police protect against domestic threats. Therefore, being against the police is giving "aid and comfort" to the enemies.

Update:

@Sordenhiemer- You clearly don't understand how to debate an issue and show how the other person might be wrong. I gave facts with an actual quote from the definition of treason combined with a logical deduction to reach a conclusion. You just typed some random sh*t to the effect of "You is wrong" Most 6 year olds can form more coherent arguments than that.

Update 2:

@alex-"advocate" implies more than just speech.

No, it's not.  Giving means more directly helping, not merely taking away funding for "protection".

Freedom of speech. They can advocate all they want.

No, that's silly.  Just wall of the areas that wish to be defunded and let them enjoy all the tolerance, peace and progress.

Maybe they can have their own "summer of love" like the citizens of CHAZ/CHOP enjoyed.

the police should be defunded. they look more like the military and they do jobs they shouldn't
