explain why the output voltage of an over-compound generator increases as the load increases?

    If the output voltage really did increase as the load increased, the load which is really just an impedance would draw more current which is more "load" which increases voltage which draws more current which is more load... you get the idea. The generator would over current trip in a few cycles.
