BT share price from £15 to what?

worthless almost and good thing we get a dividend .

so, a shareholder had £100,000 of shares in the 1990's and  i had my pension in shares and dividends  and now almost valueless.

    This is why you should have had a financial advisor. You bought the shares and didn't monitor them closely enough.

    That's the risk we all assume when we invest but it didn't go down in one overnight movement and so whoever you tasked with managing your investment should have been managing it properly and protecting your investment

    Share ownership requires regular monitoring and  occasional switching if you want a better chance of profits.  I had BT shares from the original privatisation issue; sold them a long time ago, for a modest profit. If you had that amount invested, it would have been advisable to get professional advice.
