Are the followings sentences grammatically correct?

1. Someone "stole" my car a week ago. 

2. Someone "stolen" my car a week ago.

    The first is correct. The second isn't. Stolen does not fit with someone.

    No 2  is a beautiful one , reversely No 1. suffers from proper application of the principal verb in simple past tense.

     STOLEN can only be used in perfect tense and in passive voice sentences.

    Ex.  My car was stolen by someone a week ago.

            My car has/had been stolen by someone a week ago.

    Someone stole my car a week ago

    Or 

    My car was stolen a week ago

    Both are correct
