What's the difference between a null hypothesis, an alternative hypothesis, and an "if..then" hypothesis?

Is the "if..then" hypothesis the alternative hypothesis?

    The null hypothesis simply means that there is no statistical significance between the two variables being examined. “If then” hypotheses are situational or contextually conditioned; e.g. “If I eat more vegetables I’ll lose weight.” Here’s a link
