Can a resturant refuse to do business because of the person's skin color?

    Yeah but they will look bad.

    Yes they can...but ONLY IF ...

     they WANT to be the people who are on TV being picketed and then dragged to court for discrimination and then having to close the business because they have spent all of their money and sold their house to defend themselves against a discrimination lawsuit that they have lost, and then be unable to get a loan to start another business, or buy another house and then they wind up living in a friend's or relatives basement for the next 30 or so years being angry and mean and drinking cheap whiskey and yelling at kids until they die.

    No.  Or at least not because of the person's natural skin color (race).  Maybe if the person is visibly dirty because the person hasn't washed.

    That would be unlawful discrimination.

    Except maybe if the skin color was green...like the person was ill.
