Would you take this as a compliment?

If you served zucchini tomato stir fry at your dinner party and he said, "it feels like someone just shoved a fist-full of summer down my throat"

    It would depend on their tone of voice when they said it. I might ask "Is that good or bad?" in a lighthearted way.

    It's a compliment, because fresh tasting food like that grows in gardens 😉
