I can't draw a specific character?

like many other artists i have characters of my own. When I draw them, they usually will turn out just as expected. However there is one character, (I would describe as my main character) that whenever I draw them it turns out horrible or just looks uncomfortable. It may be possible that I've grown this character so much in my head that I become nervous when trying to actually draw them. Do you guys know of anyway I can overcome this? Its actually starting to annoy me now.

Do small,  quick (as in 2 minute) sketches of the character in different poses, repetition and quick simple lines helps the brain train to do the figure

    Just stop overthinking it.

    Start with something simple.
