If my cucumber leaves are turning yellow probably due to too much water, do I need to add something to the soil to counteract the yellowing?

Yellowing happens. Even nature has week where it rains daily.

Just stop watering daily .  Make it once in 3 days. This is assuming the plant is in the ground(not in a pot-which needs Less watering like once a week)  Some of the yellow/green ones will green up again. The pure yellow is closer to the yellow brown color of death.

If it is because of too much water, you need to add less water.  You might throw some fertilizer at them. It won't do any more damage. Nothing you can do now except hold back the weeds.

Not that I know of, you might want  to get a moisture meter.  I use one to determine when to water.  Just because it may be 100F out, doesn't mean a plant needs to be watered constantly.
