Why Asian people eat bats?

It is an environmental issue. As humans move closer and closer into animal habitats, the animals have to live with the humans, unfortunately. Because they are so close to each other now, bats and other creatures became a delicacy. This problem did not start with the bats, and the bats are not the last.

For bats and other animals it is very hard to find sanctuaries these days. Many animals that used to migrate to the U.S. over the year, stay in Mexico all year long now, because going north would only mean, having no space, cause their habitat was taken.

In all honesty you don't have to eat the bat, in order to catch the virus. Yes, they are considered a delicacy in China, but who says that the first infected person even ate one? As humans keep expanding their territory, and don't leave any room for these creatures to live in their original surrounding, these types of diseases will spread.

I watched this documentary on monarch butterflies. The researchers in the US where wondering why they didn't see as many any more, basically migrating up north from Mexico. Then they visited the spots in Mexico where they usually stay over the winter, and they found them there in masses in the summer.

Look at where bats live now over here, under bridges. Is that where they are supposed to be? Humans have done so much harm to this Earth, and they just won't stop, even if it kills them. The reaction is, Oh what a tragedy. The tragedy started a long time ago, and as human demography will double by 2050, concerns as these, and also other concerns that come with those numbers would have to be addressed.

Why do you eat chicken fingers

People eat whatever they can to survive if you are under the idea the corona virus stated because of injesting bats ... The virus could have been passed on many ways from even an infected bat biting someone

People always blame what they don't understand on things like that it was the other person's fault

Presumably because they are hungry, and bats are available.

Probably for all the reasons that Europeans and Americans eat pigeons ("pigeon" doesn't sound like something you'd want to eat so if you see it for sale it will be "squab").

Some people eat bats because it is one of the few types of meat they can get their hands on. Some eat them because they think they may have nutritional benefits, sort of like ginseng, shark fins, deer antlers or prairie oyster (bull testicles that are eaten by some Americans).

    Because they taste good.

Actually, that is unheard of. Just more media lies.

Now bugs and spiders, yea, they do eat those.

Hindus consider people that eat cows immoral.  It all depends on the culture in which you live.
