With covid19 infecting whole country, is it a good time to ride motorcycle across America?

Houston always has a problem, CoVid19 is just more of it.  Now that we have that bit out of the way.

Several rules.  Don't be in crowded areas, particularly indoors.  Especially don't be in crowded indoor place with recycled air(conditioning).  Don't stay in close-quarter accommodation (flats or motels etc).  If you observe those two rules, your risk will be lowered, in which case why not.

Yes a marvellous time, just avoid the United States and Brazil.

Are you planning to stay in motels or hotels?  That will be infected areas.  Plan to live in a tent.

Riding across the US isn't the issue.  The issues are stopping at any restaurants, hotels/motels and any other possible interactions you may have with other random people.

Watch the movie, Easy Rider (1969.)  The bikers are murdered by two inbred-looking rednecks.

50 years later, intolerance is still strong, and you can still be killed by the "Good Ol' Boys."

Yeah.  It will be nice riding around Houston right now and getting some foot long enchiladas.  Not.

Not unless you could go with the conviction to keep yourself from  coming into close contact with many people and if you'd be willing to risk facing a lockdown if that happened somewhere you go. For me, half the fun of a road trip is meeting people, so I wouldn't.
