Why isn't Korean food as popular as Chinese?

I think Korean food is healthier, tastier and more diverse.

The number of Chinese people is much bigger than that of Korean people.

There are many people who have Chinese background in the world.

Naturally there are many Chinese restaurants...

In the US and Europe, I think most people lump Asian food together as a big group.

I assume you mean in the U.S.  The Chinese food that is the most popular is Cantonese, which is not spicy.  Korean tends to be spicy.  I think it is getting more popular, though.

It just isn't as mainstream yet, as Chinese food is, but I am seeing more and more Korean ingredients popping up in the market, so I think if you give it time you will see that Korean food will be just as popular.

Because Chinese food has eight distinct cuisines, some Korean food is good but it isn't a patch on Chinese and a lot of it has been copied by both Japanese and northern Chinese (Dong Bei) cuisine.
