How does someone seal their criminal record?

A minor's criminal record is sealed when they turn 18. An adult can petition the court to have a conviction expunged. That effort may or may not be successful but just one conviction at a time, not one's entire criminal record, if there is one.

You can't.  That is not something you can do.

They don't, that isn't a thing you can do.

You petition the judge that convicted you.
