When ripping a DVD what is the best format for putting in a SD Card?

My daughter has a lot of DVDs and she has a tablet that shed like to watch them on I have a couple of 128GB SD Cards and was wondering what is the best way to do this.

I don't mind paying for some software just not sure where to start?

That REALLY depends on the format that your daughter's tablet can read.  Sadly, you gave no indication of which specific tablet it is that your daughter has, so we can't see what formats it can handle.

Your main problem is overcoming copyright protection built into most DVDs. Ripping protected DVDs is OK for personal use though.

The paid version of DVDFab  can do this https://www.dvdfab.cn/dvd-copy.htm?trackID=homeban...
