Maggie picked my pick, so I'll go lots lighter with Joni Mitchell's Raised on Robbery. Both by Canadians, and both of which only are only really done justice on a big kickin' system. #3 to follow...

BQ: a pair of hand-crafted snowshoes, subsequently thrown out by my ex. Some later aluminum "bear claws" were good, but just not the same.

This is a song that I've always liked.  I can only assume that "in Victoria" is referring to Victoria, British Columbia.  But who knows?  It's a good song, in any case.

Favorite memory is the ferry boat ride from Vancouver to Victoria, the capital city of British Columbia.

Oooh, so hard to pick just one. I'll limit myself to three...

Neil Young's cover of Ian & Sylvia's, "Four Strong Winds"

Stompin' Tom Connors - "Bud the Spud"

    Bon Iver - "Calgary"

BA: Watching Game 8 of the 1972 (Hockey) Summit Series between Canada and the USSR in my Grade 7 classroom, when Paul Henderson scored "the goal of the century" with 34 seconds remaining to win the series against the mighty Soviets at the Luzhniki Palace in Moscow. In my excitement, I spilled water all over my teacher's desk. Of course, at the time she could hardly care less. Sorry, Miss Fisher :)

EDIT: Had to remove all the links, as I could see my answer did not post :(

    EDIT 2: Now we're good!

BQ: Went to a wedding in Algonquin about 20 years ago and went for a walk afterwards and came across a bear and moose within about five minutes of getting out the car.  Scary and cool but love Canada.

    “Toronto Tontos” - Max Webster

“Running Back To Saskatoon” - Guess Who

“YYZ” - Rush (an instrumental, but it’s the call sign for Lester B. Pearson Airport in Toronto)

BQ - peameal bacon, plus the Toronto Blue Jays winning the World Series in 1992 and 1993.  Had plenty of fun both times.

BA: Favourite memory is probably the Canada Cup final series from 1987 against USSR. Absolutely amazing finals, and I can't even imagine how a canadian would have felt after that glorious victory. Hollywood themselves could not have staged a more dramatic drama, with that perfect ending, Gretzky to Lemiuex, 6-5 again (unbelievable!??!) in game three against the mighty sovjets. Classic.
