Is online college as good as attending at a university for a degree?
Of course, it will never be the same for one student to attend school, physically. There will be no physical and emotional interactions. Most of the students have courses in fields where they will have to use the equipment, in which, it is not going to be possible.
Learning online will be a different kind for the new normal, for the new generation. Perhaps, there will be some benefits in doing so, but in the later time, hoping each countries education boards will come up with a sufficient way of equipping with the right tool and information to our schoolers.

Depends what you want to study, which field you're going into, how appropriate online learning is for that, or whether you need university facilities such as science labs.

Online colleges/universities that are exclusively online are often for-profit schools that are not highly regarded and may not be appropriately accredited. In that case, it's not as good.
Many regular universities now often degrees online, and those are perfectly legitimate. You might not get the same experience as you would in the classroom, but the degree would be recognized.

It depends upon the online college. If it's sponsored by a reputable and respected university, it should be good. If it's from a "for profit" organization, the chances are that it won't be very good, and potential employers won't be interested.

IMHO, the answer is no. That being said, however, online has become much more accepted since the start of the health crisis.
