dieting! 90% of weight loss is HEALTHY EATING. there are hundreds if not thousands of articles of what to eat and not eat. you don't have to starve yourself, and that's dangerous anyway, but just know what to eat is important. if you have a smartphone, get a calorie counter app. there are many free ones. find one that breaks down nutrients to fine tune your eating.
see a doctor. you should get physical's once a year anyway. express weight loss goals. come up with a realistic plan. some people need a year or more to see relevant change. even losing one pound a week is considered healthy. stay hydrated. drinking plenty of water can help losing weight too.
otherwise, cardio. and squats will help. anything that consistently gets your heart rate up will help. running outside if its nice out. burpees. biking. etc.
