Why do octopuses have venom? 😊?

    For self-defense and to help kill its prey faster. If you mess with an octopus and it bites you it will hurt but unless it's a blue ringed octopus it won't kill you

    One of their main food sources is crab. An octopus has a soft body and could be damaged if they couldn't quickly disable them.
