    (x^2 + 8x)/(x^2 - 64)

    = x / (x - 8)

    F = (x^2+8x)/(x^2-64) = x(x+8)/[x+8)(x-8)], x =/= (+/-)8. For such x, F = x/x-8).

    (x^2+8x)/(x^2-64)=

    x(x+8)/[(x-8)(x+8)]=

    x/(x-8).

    Provided that x=/=-8

    (x^2 + 8x)/(x^2 - 64) =

    x(x + 8)/((x + 8)(x - 8)) =

    x/(x - 8)

    x(x + 8) / (x - 8)(x + 8) 

    Cancel down by 'x+8' 

    Hence 

    x /(x - 8)

    =----------------- cancel out x + 8

    ..(x + 8)(x - 8)

    .......x

    = ----------- Answer//

    (x^2+ 8x)/(x^2 - 64) = x(x + 8)/[(x - 8)(x + 8)] = x/(x – 8)

      Note: x can't be 8 or -8
