Why did food taken to US by South Asian immigrants not become as much part of the culture as that from Europeans?

...pizza, Frankfurters, bratwurst, Hamburgers, waffles, bagels, cheesecake, etc

Until recently there weren't many South Asian or Middle Eastern Muslim immigrants in America.

That's changing, though. There are many Indian restaurants and kebab shops in cities like NYC. San Francisco/Bay Area is full of Indians, there are many Arabs and Pakistanis in Queens, NY.

The European food comes from the mass pan-European immigration to the US that took place between 1880-1950, especially from Germany and Italy.

They aren't as popular as others. South Asians didn't influenced US much like Mexicans and Italians.

The Indian diaspora was more to South Africa , Canada and the United Kingdom in contrast to rampant immigration from Europe to the U.S.A , which probably went on for hundreds of years .
