Mexican food vs American food or Italian food?

    Italian.  I can get the ingredients easily there being a most wonderful Italian deli a hop and a skip away for the things that don't overlap with locally available produce.  Besides, it's already a large part of my repertoire.  Just yesterday I made a puntarelle salad followed by a potato torta/pizza thingy.  I like Mexican but the majority of the ingredients are exotics here so that would rule that out.
