How to connect an ADSL cable to a router that only has a WAN port?

    WAN   ****IS*** ADSL in this case.  Plug it in.  Ethernet cord from you modem to the router.

    You put a modem between the cable and the router.

    The ADSL cable runs from the modem to the ADSL incoming connection. You then run a LAN cable (Cat 5 or Cat 6) from the modem to the Router, using the UPLINK or WAN connection on the router. (There is usually a special port on the back just for connecting to the Modem.  It will be noted as not a standard port.)
