Is a heart rate of 105 pretty high or is it still high average?

A normal resting heart rate for adults ranges from 60 to 100 beats per minute. Generally, a lower heart rate at rest implies more efficient heart function and better cardiovascular fitness. For example, a well-trained athlete might have a normal resting heart rate closer to 40 beats per minute.

The average heart rate is between 50 and 100 beats per minute with closer to 50 being better. Many athletes maintain heart rates less than this.

105 isn't dangerously high but it is just outside the normal range. You should be drinking more water.

A resting heart rate of 105 is high.  The typical middle-aged guy who is obese will have a rate of 70.  A professional athlete can have one lower than 40.
