Are dinosaurs more related to reptiles or birds?

Yes they are, that is how birds came to exist, they evolved from dinosaurs. Although all of the dinosaurs in real life have died out, their primates like birds, eagles and pigeons still exist until today, and also birds are reptiles. Dinosaurs were reptiles, they came from the reptile family.

Oh, phoo! Despite the half-baked ideas being put out by publicity-seeking paleontologists, mainly one who should go back to sitting in his corner with his Christmas pie, birds are descended from a different group of reptiles than the dinosaurs. The latter ARE reptiles, not just "more related" to them. As Daniel hinted, "dinosaurs" are a conglomeration of different reptiles, not all of them closely related to the others.

Neither, they each had their own different ancestor unless you go way way back.
You look at the tree of animal life there are dinosaurs that are closer to aves, and there are dinosaurs closer to reptiles.
Consider, 'dinosaur' is just a tag given the the huge number of species of non extant life.
Somewhere up the line, along came primordial ancestors that became todays primates and Homo.

We suffer from having dinosaurs incorrectly categorized as reptiles long ago and it is like pulling teeth to get the scientific community to admit a mistake and correctly reclassify them. They have largely agreed that dinosaurs are more closely related to birds and in fact classified birds as a type of dinosaur but there are still hold outs that refuse to change their beliefs.
Birds in many ways are the most advanced in musculature, respiratory, circulatory, etc. This doesn't sit well with some and they are very hesitant to admit that an ancient animal could be so closely related to an animal that is as advanced as a bird. In my opinion, dinosaurs grew large largely due to their bird-like features.

Their saurians, which are a form of reptile. Birds evolved from them.

Although dinosaurs themselves are known as "reptiles," their only living descendants are birds. The reptiles of today might be thought of as "cousins" of dinosaurs, and it is believed that the crocodile is the modern reptile most closely related to dinosaurs.

Birds actually ARE dinosaurs.
