While not a show of grievous criminal acts by the FBI, the IG report was about as scathing to the FBI as the Mueller report was to Trump? ?

Disagree mostly to your making a conclusion to having made up your mind before all the facts are in. GOP just got tons of material, let’s see what happens. We waited on your crap for 3 years, check back in 3 days at least.

Agreed for the most part. The report says the FBI made numerous inaccuracies and omissions in its FISA applications and that the FBI failed to do basic due diligence. That's why it's so mystifying that the report also says the FBI did not act improperly. How the hell is it not improper to get spy warrants based solely on a piece of unverified, foreign-sourced political opposition research, with applications dishonestly claiming it had been verified and omitting its origins?

The Mueller report did kind of the inverse. It pointed out that Trump repeatedly rejected offers of Russian help and no collusion was found, but insinuated there was improper conduct and motive.
