Why did God write a book that could be misinterpreted a thousand different ways to given us the most important information on Earth?

First he decides to send his message in a way that any other man on Earth uses to share information, but on top of that, it is objectively unclear as there are thousands of different sects all claiming certainty. Couldn't there have been a better, more unique way of sending information?

  • This is why,

    Psalm 147:19

He declares His word to Jacob, His statutes and judgments to Israel. 20He has done this for no other nation; they do not know His judgments. Hallelujah!

GOD only had a covenant with one people, his chosen people

    2 Esdras 6:56

As for the other people, which also come of Adam, thou hast said that they are nothing, but be like unto spittle: and hast likened the abundance of them unto a drop that falleth from a vessel.

Whether the Book is the Quran, the Bible, the Book of Mormon or any other book, you will find many different interpretations. Believers place the blame not on imperfections in the book, but on human imperfections.

God knows humans are imperfect and would interpret the book to suit their own viewpoints. That is why it was necessary for Jesus to institute a church who's leaders would be guided by the Holy Spirit. "Thou are Peter and upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it."

God normally communicates with man clearly and unequivocally. It is clear and straightforward when he teaches his prophets and apostles. But as time goes on, editors, translators, and butchers mangle his words. Fortunately, Christ has given us The Book of Mormon, the necessary second witness of Jesus Christ, to support, defend, complement, and in some cases clarify the Bible.

This is one of the many reasons I'm not only convinced but very happy that particular god doesn't exist.

    All done on purpose.

So that you would stand alone, and not trust man, but trust Jesus Christ, who is God and Savior.  John 3:16.

    .

And whoever wants to be deceived, will easily be deceived (1 Corinthians 11:19).  All by design.  The one that wants the truth, will get it.  The one that doesn't want the truth but will cover it in whining and silly complaining, will be in hell.
