Quality of cheap titanium/tungsten wedding bands?

I'm looking to save money and am thinking of purchasing either a Titanium or Tungsten wedding band online. These two rings are exactly what I want but at a fraction of the cost of what I found at the local jewelry store. Should I be concerned about the quality of these affordable rings? Are there any specific questions I should ask the seller to verify the quality of the ring?

I am looking for a durable ring that will last a lifetime. The ring will spend most of its time on a necklace around my neck. Occasionally I will wear the ring on my finger.

Titanium: $24 USD https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32259597574.html

Tungsten: $12 USD https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32826888806.html

I don't know if it will last a lifetime but I do know that it's hard to trust anything with such a low price tag.  You may as well melt down a few pennies and make a ring...or make a ring from a teaspoon handle.

Just so you're aware these types of metals can't be resized.  You'd be okay if your finger never got bigger or smaller.

I'd guess with where the ring is coming from and the price that the rings are fake.

You get what you pay for sometimes.  A simple gold ring is inexpensive.

  • Cheap is usually not good when it comes to jewelry. Also it could turn your finger or your skin green. knock offs look similar but they don't have the metal you're looking for in them.

When it comes to jewelry you get what you pay for.

    That sums it up.

    I'd be concerned.

Have you read reviews for this company. And reports from BBB?

Many complaints of knock offs merchandise. Not receiving what was ordered. Not getting refunds.

Are you in the USA? Go to Wal Mart

Note that tungsten rings can not be resized.
