Not complicated. Just pick the fund(s) you want and buy them.
I have lots of different investments in my IRA with them.

They allow you to invest money in any of Fidelity's regular mutual funds. For instance, your 401k could be invested 35% in Puritan, 25% in Magellan, etc.

A 401k is a type of account. A mutual fund is a type of investment within that account. Within a 401k you can buy stocks, bonds, mutual funds, or ETFs.
