Do South East Asian governments who let in so many Nigerians to work think they will benefit the economy and citizens?

I can't say about the other countries, but here in Indonesia, we don't need a large influx of migrant workers because we have plenty of them from our country and the labor wage is relatively cheap. Perhaps the higher-skilled jobs like engineer is still relevant because we're lacking of them, but for the lower jobs, there's no need to import foreign workers. Unemployment is also increasing really fast, so this is also another reason why we don't need those foreign workers.

  • S.E Asian countries are more racist than most European and Australasian countries and refuse to allow Nigerians in as refugees. Malaysia and Thailand in particular hate anyone black or white, they just jail them on any pretext!
