Well that doesn’t sound like a good option! Another bad situation would be the CCP having such effective surveillance and policing capabilities that they never let go of what they gain control of.

friends ,use your head ,china has never invaded any country in human history ,and will not seek hegemony, and expansion, I think that the rise of china only open up numerous possiblities for other countries to develop economic and trade relation with china ,what's more ,china has contributed more than 20% to the global economic growth ,in fact ,many countries has benefited greatly from this ,but china fall into the category of middle-income country ,there is a long way to go before china deliver the prosperous life to the people , but china's rapid development will be greeted with some suspicion ,so some countries will take some countermeasure to contain china's peaceful rise ,for example ,some democratic people such as rioter were instigated to carry out violence against Hongkong ,this is things some western people want to see ,because violence would bring Hongkong economy to the halt ,this is the worst-case scenario for china's rise .

You will ask me to teach you Chinese, hahhaah, just a joke!As for the present political system,China will never ever surpass Amireca, because many of the most intelligent Chinese are in America, some have imigrated, some are just studying,visiting....maybe on surface just so,but actually they all look forward to stay in Amireca, why?Just because of the freedom, openess and containment in Amireca, because these things are much more important than money, house and beauties,so treat the Chinese much more kindly would be better, haha.Anyway,Amireca is the strongest country for now and also for a really long time,so just take it easy!

For westerners, you're already seeing what's to come in the form of businesses and their employees having to avoid controversial topics to appeal to the Chinese government.  In the US, for example, you can readily do business while not being terribly appreciated by the Fed, but in China that's not the case.  One slip up can readily cost a company many billions in business.

But China's rise will have positive effects in ravaged south-eastern African nations, along with Eastern Europe where China is in the development stage of building the longest high speed railway on Earth so that they can ship to the west much, much faster and without use of ships.

Some people win. Some people lose.  Such is economics.

Business men need to learn Chinese language. You need to work in another country and your family stays in your own - you will see them once a year. You will have one week holiday in a year but the same money like with five weeks of holiday.

This is not a theory but the real future according to economy scientists.

US global  hegemony will end, the US will cease to be an imperialist power. The US economy will tank like it has never tanked before and never be the same again.

    Empires rise and empires  fall.

For the United States, about the worst thing that could happen would be nations shifting away from using the dollar as the universal income standard and instead utilizing the Chinese Yuan.  This would represent a drastic reduction in US power the likes I cannot simplify here.
