Logically it should stay in because that makes better economic and geopolitical sense.

Unfortunately enemies both within and without the UK have fomented trouble over it which has caused demoralisation and cynicism which could lead to serious civil disobedience. Leavers hate Remainers and there is no longer any popular will amongst Remainers to accept being forced to leave. This is what happens when politicians lie and play dirty tricks to get their own way.

Seems kind of obvious: the only people who want to leave are (1) a Russian guy with Trump-style hair who lies to the Queen's face, and (2) some creepy-looking, thin, skeletal guy in the House of Commons called something like "Sir Jacob Fartblossom Moose-Butt." Oh, and also #1's assistant spy called "Natasha." Mooses seem implicated in all of this, actually. Vote "Remain."

You saw the pound plunge when the referendum results were first publicized, and then every time Britain looked like they really were going to Brexit. It's because Brexit would be a serious economic mistake, harming the UK's economic strength.
