Questions for districts using ‘hours’ or ‘bucks’ as currency?

For anybody who lives in a district that uses ‘hours’ or ‘bucks’

instead of US dollars, can you tell me if state or federal gov’t

taxes you on the economic activity of these currencies?

If yes, how does collection of such tax revenue by gov’t work?

I've got the bucks, but not a minimum wage per hour.

In the US, there is no other currency besides US legal tender currency. You can call something anything you want, it does not make it legal tender currency. Cryptocurrency or your 'hours' or 'bucks' aren't money, they are a commodity for trade or a bartering situation. The IRS has its rules about those; which can be read.
