What type of socil security?
Regular old age or disability?
You can work drawing either but the amount you are allowed to earn is different. Plus its figured diffetently
Old age SS is so much per year while disability is sdo much per month.
Also thr penlty is different
If regular SS your SS is reduced if you go over thr annual amount. In disability any month you are over the asmount ypu lose that months check
Those numbers are real close to the maximum allowed for disability but should be ok for regular SS

You are fine. It won't be a problem.

After "normal retirement age" (typically age 65-67 depending on when you were born), there is no limit on what you can make.
Before "normal retirement age" (typically age 65-67 depending on when you were born), there is a limit on what you can make, but it's not the same for everyone; it depends on how much your social security benefit is.

Retirement? Yes. Disability? Your benefit gets reduced because of course if you CAN work, you are not so disabled as to need full disability.

Do you get social security or SSI (supplemental security income)? If social security do you get disability, survivor or retirement benefits? If you get survivor or retirement benefits we need to know your age. Need more info.
Social Security stops no one from working. Whether or not you have to report it and whether or not it impacts your benefits, depends upon what type of benefit you get. If disability then you are required to timely report when you start and end jobs. Timely means within 10 days of the reporting event.
Maybe you should consider reading your notices; they tell you what to report and how to report it.Source(s): I was a SS claims rep for 32 yrs.

See https://www.ssa.gov/planners/retire/whileworking.h... . After you reach full retirement age, there's no limit on what you can make without being penalized. Younger than that, you can make up to 17,640 without penalty.

That would depend on many things, such as your age, and under what circumstances you are getting SS for.
Ask your local SS office.
