the prefix in- means "not." How does the meaning tell you which reactions in photosynthesis require light,and which reactions do not?

    "In general" the prefix "-in" means "not" but there are a few exceptions!

    But taking the rule of "in-" meaning "not", you simply look at the word starting with "in-" and say that the reaction etc after "in-" does not happen.
