    Hello,

"Palestine" is not and never has been, any sovereign state. The "Palestinian" Arabs have autonomy under the Oslo Accords, referred to as: the "Palestinian Territories". Although there is a: "State of Palestine" place-card at the Arab-dominated United Nations, in reality there is no such state.

Internationally-recognised history shows that the last indigenous sovereign state in the land of Israel (on which the name “Palestine” was imposed by Roman-occupiers), prior to the RE-establishment of Israel in 1948, was the Jewish Hasmonean Kingdom of Judah (aka Judea). It included the West Bank, Gaza, and Golan Heights. Capital (what is now East) Jerusalem / “Old City”. Between 110 BCE / 754 BH and 63 BCE / 706 BH:

The reader can also learn how the Jewish Hasmonean Kingdom of Judah

re-gained its independence from the Greek Seleucid empire, from the following two sources:

Extract from “Josephus - “Antiquities of the Jews”, Book 13, part of Paragraph 11 of Chapter 5, to end of Chapter 7.

The reader can view coins from the Jewish Hasmonean Kingdom of Judah, here:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hasmonean_coinage

Their independence came to an end because of a Roman invasion and many, but not all, Jews were expelled to many places including Europe.

While millions of Jewish men, women, and children, were murdered by the Nazis for being ethnically-Jewish, the “Palestinian” Arabs (and their anti-Semitic supporters) are obliged to claim fantasy-propaganda that both falsely-denies the Judean heritage of the Jewish People, and also falsely-claims the Palestinians are descendants of Jews. This is to dishonestly evade the noble Quran’s recognition that the Land of Israel is given by Allah / God to the Jewish People (see extract below from the noble Quran: Sura “Al-Maaida” 5:21).

Their intention is to perpetrate a hoax that Jewish Israelis are foreign invaders. This is to attempt to justify taking the land of Israel, in which the Jewish community has had unbroken presence since from Biblical times, from before the Arab invasion and occupation!

Referring to the Bible where it talks about the Jewish People being given the land of Canaan by Allah / God, the noble Quran recognizes that the Land of Israel is given by Allah / God to the Jewish People, saying:

    - - - - Start of English translation extract from the noble Quran: - - - -

Sura (chapter) “Al-Maaida” [“The Table” or “The Table Spread with Food”] 5:21:

“O my people! Enter the holy land which Allah hath assigned unto you,

and turn not back ignominiously, for then will ye be overthrown, to your own ruin.”

    http://www.searchtruth.com/chapter_display.php?cha...

    - - - - End of English translation extract from the noble Quran - - - -

The Quran also mentions kings of Israel; examples:

    > King Saul, King David, see: Surah Al-Baqarah (The Cow) 2:251.

    > King David, King Solomon, see: Surah Saad [ص] 38:30.

    > King Solomon, see: Surah Saad [ص] 38:34-40.

The Holocaust speeded-up a return by some Jewish exiles to their homeland, which had already been underway before the second world war.

The Jewish People are the indigenous people of their ancestral homeland of Israel with unbroken presence there since Biblical times:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographic_history_...

Why then do we refer to a “Return” of some Jewish exiles? While there is unbroken Jewish presence in the land of Israel from Biblical times, some Jewish exiles wished to return to their ancestral homeland of Israel. The clue is in the name:

“Jew” refers to the citizens of “Judah” (aka “Judea”) / Israel.

There has never been a sovereign state of “Palestine” upon which the “Palestinian” Arabs could base any claim to the land of Israel. Following the Ottoman Turkish defeat in the First World War, the League of Nations in 1921 resurrecting the name “Palestine” from Roman occupation, authorized a British Mandate, whose inhabitants were known as:

“Palestinian Jews” / “Palestinian Arabs”. An administrative region, NOT a sovereign state, it was an area that later would be today’s:

Jordan, Israel, and the Palestinian Territories.

The prior Ottoman Turkish empire did not use any such political term as “Palestine”, but rather Ottoman-occupied Judea / Israel was within the Ottoman province of “Syria”.

The “Palestinian” Arabs may come from those who invaded and occupied the Jewish land of Judea / Israel. However, it is also unclear at what point they arrived there, since they were opposed to being called a “People” until the 1960’s, when they decided it fitted with their intention to steal the land from its indigenous Jews:

    http://www.targetofopportunity.com/palestinian_tru...

Israel (size of New Jersey state in the U.S., or Wales in the U.K.) was Re-established in 1948 following a United Nations Partition Plan which had sought to set up two states, one Jewish and one Arab:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Nations_Partit...

The then Palestinian Jewish Community accepted the U.N. Partition Plan, while in 1947 the “Palestinian” Arabs commenced a civil war to oppose it, instead take ALL the land, and expel (or murder) the Jews. Arab countries also attacked with the same objectives, but the Arabs lost the war.

However, Jordan illegally-occupied the West Bank, and also East Jerusalem from which the Jordanians expelled the Jews.

Egypt illegally-occupied the Gaza strip. Neither offered any area to the Palestinians.

(Please see “Sources” area of this answer.)

Palestinian propaganda falsely-alleges the Re-establishment of Israel caused: a “great injustice” / “nakba” (“catastrophe” / “disaster”) to the Palestinians.

    In reality:

    > The Palestinians violently rejected the Arab state of the U.N. Partition Plan;

    > Jordan and Egypt occupied the land proposed for an Arab state under the U.N. Partition Plan (approximating to the West Bank and Gaza);

    > BOTH Arabs and Jews, became war-refugees;

    > The Palestinians falsely-claim with no evidence of any such policy that they were expelled from the land; Jews were indeed expelled by the Arabs as policy. Palestinians live and work in Israel.

Therefore the reader is entitled to be sceptical about Palestinian propaganda falsely-alleging a fantasy-injustice.

Some Arab refugees had owned land / homes there, but private land / home ownership does not of itself amount to proof of entitlement to the sovereignty of the country in which a community lives.

Some Palestinians have Israeli citizenship, while most refuse it because they falsely-claim ALL the land of Israel.

In 1967 Israel gained control of the West Bank and Gaza and as an attempt at “land for peace” under the Oslo Accords, granted the Palestinians autonomy of part of the West Bank (40%) and the whole of Gaza (anticipating a peace treaty until when the land remains Israel’s).

    Afterwhich the Palestinians:

    > Do not sincerely negotiate any peace treaty.

    > Make an unverifiable false-claim to ALL the land of Israel.

    > Want to expel the Jews from the Jews ancestral-homeland of Israel.

    > Have expelled any Jewish population from all areas under Palestinian control and then falsely-claimed “Apartheid” against Israel !

    > Consider themselves at war with Israel.

    > Attack Israeli Jewish civilians as policy including children.

No wonder anti-Semites display such emotional-support for the Palestinians!

Israel is often accused of being in breach of United Nations resolutions. This is due to a built-in anti-Israel bias comprising the block-vote of up to 56 Arab and additional Islamic-aligned countries (e.g. U.N. member states that are also members of the “Organization of Islamic Cooperation”), plus the influence of Arab oil money; compared to Israel being just one country.

U.N. resolutions on Israel give the appearance of having been drafted for the U.N. by Palestinian-Propaganda-Central in Ramallah.

Thus, fully-complicit with Palestinian propaganda denying Jewish roots in the Jews ancestral homeland of Israel, both the U.N and European Union treat the Jewish People as “invaders”, and so also as “thieves” and “illegal-occupiers” of the Jews OWN land (all the areas of land being of the prior Jewish kingdoms of Judea / Israel), likewise illogically of building “illegal-settlements” there, and with Palestinian terrorism regarded as “resistance to occupation”.

Consequently, the Jewish People are the only people in the world falsely and perversely accused of having “stolen”, and of “illegally-occupying”, their own ancestral homeland of Israel.

The Palestinians obtained a unique false inheritable refugee status from the Arab-dominated U.N, to inflate the number of alleged-refugees, as a (fraudulent) means of “invading” Israel. It is a refugee status allowed in no other refugee situation - see the best-answer at:

    https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100...

The two-state solution seems appropriate. A peace treaty between two good neighbours, peacefully co-operating, giving and learning from each other; making certain the children of both peoples should never know the horror of conflict.

England and France used to be enemies with periods of war between 1213 and 1815, yet at last they realised the stupidity of it and no doubt of all those lost years when they missed-out on being friends.

    I hope this helps.

    Robert.

One question that should be asked muslim scholars is what is the relationship of the Old Testament of the Bible (or Jewish and muslim equivalents) to the muslim religion. And, if it has any bearing within the muslim religion, how do they handle the covenants between God and the Jewish people. One of the problems of the muslim religion is that it seems to be full of various rewrites of convenience that cause perpetual conflict.

They're both wrong. Israel does more damage because they're more powerful, but I don't think for a minute that if the shoe was on the other foot Palestine would be any better.

Until a third party - whether a powerful ally or a multinational group like the UN - can step in and say enough is enough and act as a broker then there will never be peace. That's the only way peace was achieved in Northern Ireland - but that was nothing compared to this situation.
