The only way to be 100% sure is to ask the university itself because universities have different rules.

Always check such matters with the particular university. Some have different requirements. Never take a "universal" answer as applying in your particular situation.

All courses taken at your university, regardless which major or program you are in, regardless of any change of major/program (which is also recorded) is included on your official transcript.

Yes, unless the new degree program requires a grade of “C” or higher in that specific class.

The majority of US universities consider a D a failing grade and no credit is given for the class.

If the class is a prerequisite class from the Master program then you would need at least a C in the class. Going to the same university would not change the graduate school’s policy

You really need to speak to your college adviser and graduate school admissions office

Policies on this vary. You would have to check with your university to find out for sure. Some schools will require that you earn a C or better in all courses that are required for a degree. Likewise, it's common for graduate programs to require that you earn a C or better in all prerequisite courses. In other cases, they worry more about overall GPA. No one here can tell you for sure.

Because "God's mercy" is not the only divine attribute, but VENGEANCE is just as important in the eyes of God.

But how do you respond to this?

It seems most unlikely that a D will transfer programs, even within the same school. Best would be to simply ASK the school.

A student completes a Bachelor Degree at a university and one of the courses completed had a grade of D. Would that student be able to enroll into the Masters Degree program at the same university without having to complete that course again or would the student have to sit out of the Masters Degree program, repeating the course to achieve at least a C?
