Is bedbug stink an attractant?

When you smash a bedbug it leaves a stink behind. I ask the above question because whenever I smash one on my shirt or a pillow, after a while I find other bugs around the same area.

    No, not really. That stink is like stink bugs, they produce a musk from glands where their legs attach and is basically their defense from getting eaten by other bug predators like spiders or assassin bugs. Only a couple spiders I know that will even eat them, like the cellar daddy longleg spiders and some few ground spiders.

    Hard bugs to squish, why they are so hard to get rid of.

    What attracts most parasite bugs is CO2 from mammal respiration, they pick up on that, like house flies.

    They have hormones in their body and when you crush them are there bed bugs come running because they think it's a place to feed at
