Why has nobody ever found any credible evidence of large scale voter fraud?
Not even once. Zero. Zip. Zilch. Nada. Bupkiss.
So why do conservatives continue to push this debunked lie?

The reason is basic.
One, pretty much all conservative policies are bad for most people, so they have to lie in order to try and get votes from the people they are planning to harm.
Two, because enough people have figured that out, it's harder and harder for CONservatives to fool enough people into voting for them. That's why in the last seven US Presidential elections, the GOP candidate got more votes than the Democratic candidate just ONCE.
Trickle down economics, tax cuts all that is simply bullsh*t which only helps the 1%.
Thus, the GOP uses the LIE of 'voter fraud', which exists on the level of about ten bad votes per US election, as a lie to cover their REAL intent with voter ID laws, to REDUCE the Democratic voter turnout.
A new study from researchers Zoltan Hajnal, Nazita Lajevardi, and Lindsay Nielson at the University of California San Diego is one of the first to analyze certified votes across all states after the implementation of voter laws in multiple elections, and it found just that kind of racially discriminatory impact.
Specifically, they found “that strict photo identification laws have a differentially negative impact on the turnout of Hispanics, Blacks, and mixed-race Americans in primaries and general elections.”
"Every election, roughly half the population votes Democrat, the other half votes Republican. I understand why Republicans get 1% of the vote . . . the richest 1%. That other 49% (of Americans) someone will just have to explain to me. The facts about what the Republicans have done to the Middle Class are beyond reasonable doubt. And yet their base refuses to see it. The moneyed elite of America are dragging a bag filled with your future down the steps and your reaction is, "Hold on there, that looks heavy, let me give you a hand getting that into your trunk."" Democrats investigating democrats turns up nothing. Who would've thought?

You are misinformed. There are 18 states where voters do not need any sort of ID in order to cast a vote. Here is the list:
California, Illinois, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Vermont, West Virginia, Wyoming, and Washington, D.C.

Cheeky fellow. You say "large scale," which is obfuscation.
First, there's been all kinds of evidence of voter fraud, on both sides. Four poll workers in Indiana are serving prison sentences for voter fraud. They got Obama on the voting thing illegally. They got caught, tried, convicted, and are serving prison sentences.
Second, some woman in Florida admitted on live TV that she voted four times in "this" election, 2012.
Third, I forget which town it was, but somewhere in the midwest they had to throw out the entire vote. Seems they received 30,000 ballots with only 20,000 people living in the entire county. That's odd.
Voter fraud on any scale is an abomination. Bush won by 535 votes. That's a neighborhood. Less than 1% of 1% of the voting bloc can turn the election. You say "large scale" as if a few hundred people scattered across the US is no big deal. You say that as if to say that people who don't have the right to vote yet vote anyway is no big deal. It is.

Because in the US, it exists only in the minds of those who wish they could prove it does exist.

Because admitting the alternative would require critical self reflection. If Democrats aren't engaging in widespread fraud, which they aren't, then the only reason that Republicans keep losing elections is because voters prefer Democratic candidates and ideas.

Why was California forced by judicial decree to remove 1.5 million voters from the rolls?
The motor voter registration in California cannot guarantee the sanctity of the vote and Secretary of State Padilla says "errors at the DMV threatened to undermine confidence in the program." LOL
"Today, the Public Interest Legal Foundation released documented proof that in just 138 of Virginia’s counties and cities, voting officials quietly removed 5,556 voters from the rolls for being non-citizens in recent years and that a third of them had cast ballots. Virginia’s sloppy procedures are duplicated in many other states, making a national investigation imperative."
Update to comment: Apparently the courts took them seriously.....LOL

Would you consider 58,000 illegal votes in one state " large scale " ?

A better question would be why does it only happen in Democrat-infested places where dead people and illegals join in lockstep with busloads of paid voters going from election site to election site voting often.

Well, there was North Carolina where Republicans were found to have massively tampered with votes.
