Trust people in government and the media who have earned trust. It's ridiculous to not trust the entirety of your own government or any conventional media source. It's not easy sometimes to determine lies from truth or fact from propaganda, but it's worth it to try.

In the United States we ARE our government theoretically. It's for, of and by US! If money is corrupting it, then that's on us. If it's incompetent then it's because we're incompetent. If you think it's untrustworthy then vote for more transparency, or better yet, run on it.

Be the change you want to see.

Why don't you do what liberals do and shop around for your information? If you rely on Fox and Stormfront and Infowars, you'll be had.

The truth is something you must find on your own without any expectation in regards to what you discover.

Sean Hannity is not going to tell you the truth and neither is anyone on CNN.

You must search for the truth in an unbiased manner and accept what you find.

Otherwise youre just stroking your ego.

Same reason anyone should trust you or anyone else for that matter. As a country, we have to put a little bit of faith in each other if we want to thrive.

Don't trust the non-mainsteam media either. They are even worse tainted.

Verify everything independently with multiple sources of various backgrounds.

Non-Civil Service government is no problem, and no one with common sense trusts the media.
