How do I turn off my constant ruminating about whether or not my summer time is good or not?
So I have OCD. I like summer time and Christmas time. I am an adult but still like summer the way a kid does. So my anxiety and depression are up. Anything I am passionate about I get obsessions about.
So I am constantly ruminating about whether or not I am enjoying my summer. I was worried when I hosted a family reunion that this would happen but the reunion went great this year. So now it is this other thing. How do I shut it off?
I am in therapy and have advise there also, just looking for additional ideas while the summer is still young.

Show what you have written to your therapist. They may want you to start a rumination journal so you can better track these thoughts.
