Which specific items are you referring to?

Non-perishable items will keep a long time. Flour, sugar, anything canned or dried like rice, beans, pasta...

Perishable foods like meat can be frozen.

It is difficult to make some kinds of fresh produce last two weeks, but produce can often be preserved by freezing or canning.

My grandfather called it it a chicken and feathers diet you can eat the chicken the first week and the feathers the next.

Or have the take out the first week and the cook the dried beans and pasta the next.

You could try planning your meals.

What about it? Ask a question. This is not a question, it is a phrase.

    buy more when shopping.

    Its common sense.

If you need food for 2 weeks, you must buy food enough for 2 weeks.

If you are referring to fresh produce, use it first and buy when when needed.
