    They’re equally important.

You have to eat clean and healthy and the right diet but you also have to be getting enough exercise. You have to burn more calories than you eat.

A combination of jogging, HIIT, weight lifting, cardio, and yoga/stretching in addition to a healthy diet is very important and will completely transform your body.

Exercising 3-4 times a week for 70 minutes should be plenty.

    Good luck

Diet is everything. Ghandi didn't exercise a lick and he was thin due to diet. If you want to speed up weight loss you can lift weights and do aerobics. The total package is the most efficient. Mostly stay away from sugars, greasy foods, artificial processed stuff. Eat like a 17th century farmer.

Didn't he walk almost everywhere? That's exercise.

It is important to have a diet that consists of a permanent, lifetime change of low-fat, low-sugar foods. Don’t give up on your regular exercise either. Exercising is the key to feeling good. It will also make you feel good about yourself. When you look good, you will feel good!

Diet alone will only get you so far. Exercise will actually make you feel good, try it.

Diet is 80 percent and exercise is 25 but diet alone will make the process take even longer so working out definitely does help. It's some of the work and it's part of the process so it's good to do that also. People won't agree but it does help. So i would say do both.

Abs are cooked in the kitchen but to burn fat you need to exercise!

Exercise has nothing to do with significant fat loss, diet is EVERYTHING.

Don't you think that gyms would be doing better instead of worse?

An hour of elliptical to burn off ONE cookie.

Think about it! The notion is ridiculous and never sustainable.

You aren't supposed to be fat. Something in your regular diet is causing you to overeat. Literally turning off the mechanism in the body that says "I'm full, no more."

This is the CURE for obesity and SO much more.

Tip of the iceberg, dude. Tip of the iceberg.

My brother in law lost weight through diet and he looks better but he also looks skinny fat. Exercise plays a huge roll in diet if you want to do it right.

Exercise will burn off the fat and a diet will mean less fat to burn off.

Diet. If you consume fewer calories you will lose weight. If you do not eat the right amount of calories you will just put back on what you lose during exercise.

Diet is more important for losing weight. However, exercise has a lot of benefits in addition to weight loss, so it's more important to your overall health in many ways.
