If humanity colonizes Mars in the distant future, will the text of the Bible have to be updated to replace the word Earth with Mars?

No. The book is what it is. It's not updated -- it doesn't need to be.

No, but there will be all sorts of problems with having ascended into Heaven

Muslims too will have major issues with changing the direction of the Qibla on Mars, and particularly so when the sun is between Earth and Mars. They'll have to work out something about the Crescent Moon too.

I would love to see a Bible 2.0 which advocates murdering Muslims.

  • Of all the things that could come from an inquiry following the words, "WHEN WE COLONIZE MARS..." and this is what you came up with? Silly and dumb.
